ComfiSpace was originally listed as a sole-trading business which was then formed as a limited company in 2020, Now we are a small team of skilled conservatory roof insulation installers who share over 50 years of combined experience in conservatory roof insulation.
Following the amendment to Building Control regulations regarding conservatory roofs in 2011, homeowners can replace old installations for insulation purposes without seeking approval for our method (other methods may require/do require building control approval), once the style remains the same. We saw an opportunity to do this for clients throughout the areas we cover and now solely focus on one professional service.

Starts at
This is basically a DIY project, as all materials are readily available. It involves installing a thermal blanket under the existing roof frame, with a finished ceiling of interlocking pvc or plasterboard.
This should be in the £2,000 to £3,000 range but your existing roof panels will still be in place.
That normally means that it is not a nice, new, fresh external finish, still prone to deterioration (i.e. leaks, draughts etc) and we are often called ni by people to upgrade these to our system.
We have all seen these roof types where the glass/ polcarb panels, plus roof frame, are removed and replaced with a tiled external finish plus an internal insulated ceiling. Two problems
with these: you need to get Building Control approval which may mean that the foundations or structure needs reinforcing due to the weight and a normal project will take up to a week, involving wet trades such as plasterers etc.
These projects will normally cost between £8,000 and £20,000.
With our method, normally it is a simple one day job, where your existing roof panels are removed and replaced with our fully insulated panels, which do not require building control approval. Now, where some companies out there will try to charge the same price as a tiled roof.
